Velti and Ansible announce key senior appointments

Experienced new hires announced in line with
growth strategy and territory expansion plans

Velti, (LSE-AIM: VEL) the leading mobile marketing and advertising technology
service provider and Ansible, Velti’s joint venture with Interpublic Group are pleased
to announce a number of strategic senior appointments that have been made in the
UK and the U.S.

Aris Hadjiaslanis joins the Velti UK London headquarters as general manager Velti
UK. In this newly created role Mr. Hadjiaslani will be responsible for leading Velti’s
effort in the UK, parts of Western Europe and South Africa. Mr. Hadjiaslani has a
very long and distinguished career in mobile which began in 1992 when he joined the
Vodafone Group as engineering manager and then business development director for
Panafon. In 1999 after the successful flotation of Panafon he became managing
director of Vizzavi Hellas, a Vodafone company specializing in mobile VAS. Prior to
joining Velti he was global director for future products in Vodafone Group in
Newbury, UK.

Clare Grant joins Velti plc as group marketing director, responsible for the
company’s marketing strategy and implementation of plans worldwide, including
brand, public relations, analyst relations, events, web and direct marketing. Ms.
Grant brings over 15 years of business to business marketing and senior
management experience to the company. Prior to Velti, Ms. Grant was marketing
director for ntl:Telewest Business, a leading provider of managed voice and data
services to UK businesses. Before joining ntl:Telewest Business, Ms. Grant held a
number of UK and European marketing and sales positions at Sony Broadcast and
Professional Europe.

Paul Cheng joins Velti as vice president of corporate development for Velti North
America. His responsibilities include leading the company’s strategic alliances and
corporate development activities. Based in San Francisco he will be tasked with
identifying, negotiating and managing key relationships with strategic partners. Prior
to joining Velti, Mr. Cheng was, a Founder of Blymee, and before that co-founded
Asylum Telecom and Adero . Mr. Cheng holds an M.B.A. in New Product and Venture
Development from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Kimberley Obremski joins the Velti U.S. team as vice president of sales, North
America, based out of the New York office. She will be responsible for selling Velti’s
Mobile Marketing Platform (MMP) to wireless operators.. Ms. Obremski brings over
two decades of sales, marketing, and management experience to Velti. Before
joining Velti, Ms. Obremski was executive vice president of sales and marketing for
bcgi (Boston Communications, Inc.), a leader in prepaid wireless, content
management, and payment technologies. Prior to bcgi, Ms. Obremski held a senior
marketing position at EDS Personal Communications.

Nick Wiggin joins Ansible as managing director for EMEA based out of London. Mr.
Wiggin has over 15 years of media experience, with the last six years focusing on
mobile media. Before setting up his mobile consultancy business Mr. Wiggin worked
in Southeast Asia and Europe for a media agency where he was directly responsible
for delivering multi-market projects and staff in three regional offices. He has since
developed a strong international reputation as an expert in mobile marketing, having
chaired the Mobile Marketing Association from 2005-2007 and advised WPP and
GSMA on global mobile advertising strategy at a senior level.

Julie Preis joins Ansible as vice president of managed services, based out of the
company’s New York headquarters. Ms. Preis will be responsible for leading the
project management team, developing Ansible’s services and solutions. She has
more than 10 years of experience new media and five years of experience in the
mobile industry. An expert at program and project management, prior to Ansible Ms.
Preis built industry leading teams at Motricity as director of off- deck program
management and at Goldpocket Wireless and Goldpocket Interactive, where she held
positions of director of production and director of ITV production.

Elizabeth Gadza joins Ansible as director of strategy, based in New York. Ms.
Gadza will be working with agencies and leading brands to develop their mobile
strategy. She has extensive experience in the mobile technology space, having
worked for Philips Electronics in Europe during the 1990s. Upon returning to the US,
she held senior management positions with mobile companies including Fenestrae,
m-Qube, Third Screen Media and Unwired Appeal, and co-founded RazzberrySync,
Inc., a mobile content company.

Christopher Lorenzoni joins Ansible as mobile media director, where he is building
a media practice within Ansible, helping agencies best utilize mobile within their
marketing mix. He will be based in New York. Mr. Lorenzoni has over a decade of
digital media experience, and joins Ansible from Draftfcb. While at Draftfcb, he
helped to start FCBi, where he educated and evangelized interactive media to clients
on behalf of the agency. He also managed multi-year, multi-million dollar media
alliances on behalf of Compaq with AOL, Microsoft and Yahoo!, and helped with
digital media strategy with clients such as Blue Cross and Coors.
