Sustained Growth Nets Velti Top Industry Award

Frost & Sullivan recognises Velti as a leader in
the European mobile advertising industry

London, UK – Velti, a leader in mobile advertising services, has won the 2008
European Award for Growth Strategy Leadership in the Mobile Advertising Market
from Frost & Sullivan for showing strategy leadership and exceptional growth within
the mobile advertising sector, achieving 100 per cent year on year growth since the
company’s inception in 2000.

This award recognises the success of Velti’s business model and its customer
relationships in Europe, which has seen the company enter emerging markets –
including Russia, as part of the company’s expansion plan in the rapidly evolving
BRIC countries of Brazil, Russia, India and China – while growing revenues in more
mature markets including the UK. According to the Frost & Sullivan judges, Velti’s
revenue-share model with partners including Vodafone, MTS, TIM, Cosmote,
QTelecom, Armentel and Orange, also made it stand out from the competition.

Velti’s Mobile Marketing Platform (MMP) enables advertisers and operators to quickly
develop and deploy sophisticated mobile campaigns using more than 70 preconfigured
templates. Each template supports different applications including large
scale SMS/MMS; mobile internet, QR codes, communities, virtual worlds, content
delivery and many more activities, along with ‘traditional’ media channel
management tools.

“Velti’s technology platform and its revenue model have given the company a great
base for growth. This is one of the real success stories of the mobile advertising
industry, Velti is expanding at a rate of more than 100 per cent a year under its own
steam whereas a lot of the competition is VC funded,” said Saverio Romeo, Analyst
at Frost & Sullivan. “The success of its campaigns running across Europe shows that
Velti understands the needs of end users, operators and advertising agencies, which
mean it’s a worthy winner.”

“It’s an honour to be recognised as an industry leader by Frost & Sullivan,” said Alex
Moukas, CEO of Velti. “We strive to maintain our leadership position in the market
through constant development of our MMP coupled with having a deep understanding
of the needs of our customer base and the markets we sell into. It is a great
achievement for this growth strategy to be acknowledged with an award.”
