Founded in 2000, Velti is a publicly traded company listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM) with sustainable growth in revenue and profits. Velti plc is headquartered in London, with offices in New York, Boston, Athens and Sofia.

On the management front, Velti is led by Harvard, MIT, Brown, London Business School and Insead graduates with extensive start-up and corporate experience. Velti’s Board of Directors includes leading professionals from the United States and the European business community.

Alexandros Moukas, Chief Executive Officer
Alexandros Moukas, aged 35, is co-founder of Velti.  Previously he co-founded and was Chief Scientist of US strategic sourcing software provider FCI.  Mr. Moukas holds a M.Sc. from MIT Media Lab in Software Agents, a M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh and a B.Sc. in Business Administration from the American College of Greece.



Chris Kaskavelis, Chief Operating Officer
Chris Kaskavelis, aged 39, is co-founder of Velti.  He has designed and been responsible for the enterprise software systems for Pratt & Whitney, Analog Devices, General Electric and Lucent Technologies.  He holds a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, as well as, a M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.  Mr. Kaskavelis also holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University. 



Menelaos Scouloudis, VP of Sales
Menelaos Scouloudis, aged 33, was previously at McKinsey, in New York and Athens where he was an Engagement Manager working primarily with large telecommunications companies.  Mr. Scouloudis holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School, a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from MIT and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.





Pantelis Papageorgiou, Director of Finance
Pantelis Papageorgiou, aged 36, was Treasury and Financial Planning Manager for P.N.G. S.A.  He has served as Portfolio Manager for Allianz Finance and worked for Arthur Andersen in Boston and Athens.  Mr. Papageorgiou holds a MBA from Boston University and a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from The American College of Greece.
David Mann, Non-Executive Chairman
David Mann, aged 62, read Theoretical Physics at Cambridge University and worked for Logica plc. from 1969 to 1994, where he became Group Chief Executive and then Deputy Chairman.  He is the former Non-Executive Chairman of Flomerics Group plc, and currently holds that position at Charteris plc, (both companies quoted on AIM).  He is a Non-Executive Director of Aveva Group plc (quoted on the Official List) and Room Solutions Limited.   Mr. Mann is also a Past President of the British Computer Society.

Nicholas Negroponte, Non-Executive Director
Nicholas Negroponte, aged 64, studied at MIT and has been a MIT faculty member since 1966, where he also founded the Media Lab.  Professor Negroponte serves on the board of directors of Motorola, Inc and has been an “angel investor” in over 40 start-ups.  Professor Negroponte is Chairman of One Laptop per Child (OLPC), a non-profit association created by faculty members of the MIT Media Lab.


David Hobley, Non-Executive Director
David Hobley, aged 60, has spent more than 35 years in investment banking, first with SG Warburg/SBC Warburg and the last 7 years with Deutsche Bank.  He has considerable experience in many fields of banking, particularly M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Commercial Banking.  He is an Independent Director of Orange S.A. and of several Orange Group companies as well as of Telit plc, Sonaecom S.A. and a number of private equity groups.  Mr. Hobley is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Jerry Goldstein, Non-Executive Director
Jerry Goldstein, aged 70, has over 32 years of investment banking experience.  He was formerly Executive Director and Board Member of Citicorp Investment Bank in London, Managing Director of Kidder Peabody Internal Limited and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Sanwa International.  Mr. Goldstein has also served as Chairman of the Council for Reporting Dealers.  He holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College and a M.A. from New York University.
