Alex Moukas, Chief Executive Officer

Alex Moukas is one of our co-founders. He has been our chief executive officer and a director since our inception in 2000. He previously co-founded, and served from 1998 to 2000 as the chief scientist of Frictionless Commerce, Inc., a privately held, strategic sourcing software provider in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which was later acquired by SAP AG. Mr. Moukas holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Computer Systems from the American College of Greece, an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, and an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chris Kaskavelis, Chief Operating Officer

Chris Kaskavelis is one of our co-founders and has been our chief operating officer and a director since our inception in 2000. In 1996, he started a division of TCA Software, a privately held enterprise software company based in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Kaskavelis serves as a director for several privately held companies. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University. Dr. Kaskavelis also holds an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering and a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from Boston University.

Wilson W. Cheung, Chief Financial Officer

Wilson W. Cheung has been our chief financial officer since 2009. He previously served as chief financial officer of AXT, Inc., a publicly traded manufacturer of high performance semi-conductor substrates, from 2004 to 2009. Mr. Cheung previously held senior financial positions with interWAVE Communications International Ltd. (now Alvarion, Ltd.), a publicly traded manufacturer of wireless voice and data communications systems, and Yahoo! Inc. Mr. Cheung is a California certified public accountant (inactive). He holds a B.A. degree in Economics /Business from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Sally Rau, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel

Sally Rau has been our chief administrative officer and general counsel since August 2010. From 1998 until 2010, Ms. Rau was a partner with DLA Piper LLP (US), a global law firm. From 1990 to 1996, Ms. Rau served as general counsel of Cronos Containers Ltd., a container leasing company, where she was based in London. Ms. Rau holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon and an A.B. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.

Menelaos Scouloudis, Chief Commercial Officer

Menelaos Scouloudis has been our chief commercial officer since our founding in 2000. From 1999 to 2002, Mr. Scouloudis served as an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company, a privately-held global consulting firm, in its New York and Athens offices where he worked primarily with large telecommunications and pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Scouloudis holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Paul Cheng, Chief Product Officer

Paul Cheng has been our vice president of corporate development and strategy since 2007, and was promoted to chief product officer in 2011. He previously was the president of KLARIUS Technology Partners, a technology consulting firm from 2006 to 2007, and a strategy and business development director of Gamma Telecom Holdings, Ltd. in 2006. He previously held executive positions with Asylum Telecom LLC, an international broadband service provider, Graphisoft SE, a software company and Klarium Luxembourg S.a.r.L. Mr. Cheng received an A.B. in Economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Vishal Gurbuxani, Chief Technology Officer

Vishal Gurbuxani joined us as a co-founder of Mobclix. In 2011 he was promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Velti. Previously, he has worked at Accenture, focusing on Digital Media, Mobile, Big Data, Content Optimization, and Predictive Analytics. He has filed numerous patents on Predictive Monitoring, Mobile Analytics and Monetization. He designed the architecture of a workflow system for the creation and movement of media as well as an analytics and insight platform for remote monitoring and diagnostics. He graduated with Honors with a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Demetri Paneras, Chief Information Officer

Demetri Paneras joined us as a vice president of LSC and IT and was promoted to chief information officer in 2011. Previously, Demetri was IT director for Eleftheros Tipos, where he designed and delivered the complete replacement of IT&T infrastructure, and the chief executive officer of VCI. Prior to that he was the internet and interactive media manager for the organizing committee of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, and the webmaster of the MIT Media Laboratory where he led the consolidation of the lab’s 80 individual websites. Demetri holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.

Sumit Rai, Chief Development Officer

Sumit Rai joined as the co-Founder of Mobclix, where he managed finance and led corporate development and strategy for the company. In 2011 he was promoted to chief development officer at Velti. He previously served as managing partner of Venus Capital’s Private Equity Group, which focuses on investments in India, and as a principal at Riverside Partners, a leading lower middle market private equity firm. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Vangelis Stamatoukos, Senior Vice President, Sales Europe

Vangelis Stamatoukos joined us as vice president of sales and business development for Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS and was promoted to senior vice president of sales for Europe in 2011. Prior to joining Velti, Vangelis worked for Hellenic Telecoms (OTE), the largest fixed, mobile and broadband telecommunications group in South Eastern Europe. Before that, Vangelis worked at Sanford C. Bernstein, in the investment banking global communications and media for Lehman Brothers, in the mobile communications strategy group for Monitor Company, and in Coopers & Lybrand. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from University of Patras, Greece, an MSc in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan and an M.B.A from Harvard University.

Krishna Subramanian, Chief Marketing Officer

Krishna Subramanian joined us as the co-founder of Mobclix, and in 2011 he was promoted to chief marketing officer at Velti. Previously, Krishna co-founded and was the general manager of new business at Blue Lithium, the world’s largest behavioral targeted ad network, which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2007. He previously led product and marketing at BlueLithium where he pioneered key elements of behavioral targeting: retargeting, predictive targeting, and SIP. Prior to that, Krishna founded Burrp! (acquired by media conglomerate TV18), a localized review and recommendation portal for India, where he ran product and marketing, focusing on ad-supported content delivery to mobile phones. He has a patent pending on mobile analytics and monetization. Krishna graduated with honors from UC Davis.

Michael Walsh, SVP Business Development, Europe

Michael Walsh has been our vice president of business development for Europe since 2009 and was promoted to senior vice president in 2011. He previously held several senior executive roles at the advertising agency group Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Inc., including director of the worldwide board. He also was group chief executive officer for the UK and EMEA, where he managed operations in 66 countries. He joined Ogilvy in 1983 after 11 years at Young & Rubicam, Inc., a privately held ad agency. Mr. Walsh is a trustee and former vice-chairman of the British Red Cross, was a world trustee of the WWF and has served as chairman of the U.K. Disasters Emergency Committee, representing 13 of the UK’s largest international charities. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Geography from Durham University.

Sunil Verma, General Manager, Exchange Business Line

Sunil Verma joined us as a co-founder of Mobclix, where he headed the daily operations and business development for the company. In 2011 he was promoted to general manager, exchange business line at Velti. Sunil was recently a Partner in Venus Capital's Private Equity Group, where he focused on investments in Digital Media in the US and India. Prior, he was with Gabriel Venture Partners, a leading growth equity firm, where he assisted with the firm's investments in Digital Media, Software and International Investments in India. Prior to Gabriel, Sunil worked with Catapult Advisors, a boutique investment bank that focused on Digital Media, Mobile and Software M&A and with Tavant Technologies, where he managed a team of product engineers for online lead generation in the finance vertical. He has a patent pending on mobile analytics and monetization. He graduated with Honors with a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Amit Chaturvedi, General Manager, Agency Platforms Business Line

Amit Chaturvedi joined us in 2011 as senior vice president, agency platforms, based in New York, and was recently promoted to general manager of the agency platforms business line. Previously, he worked as chief operating officer at QualityHealth (a performance marketing company in the lead generation space) and in senior roles at aQuantive and IAC/InterActiveCorp. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from New York University.

Dakota Sullivan, General Manager, Mobile Marketing Business Line

Stephen "Dakota" Sullivan, joined us as vice president of global marketing in 2009 and was then promoted to senior vice president, general manager North America, overseeing US operations, and to general manager of mobile marketing business line in 2011. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Sullivan was chief marketing officer for BlueLithium, an online advertising network until its acquisition by Yahoo! Inc. He also previously held executive positions with Looksmart Ltd., a search engine company, and Foote, Cone & Belding, an international advertising agency and was co-founder of Big Island, a privately held, interactive advertising agency, which was acquired by Marc USA. Mr. Sullivan holds a B.A. in Business from the University of California, Berkeley.

Xin Ye, General Manager, CASEE

Xin Ye is a well known Internet and IT executive in China. He was previously senior vice president and chief technology officer of Linktone (Nasdaq: LTON), the leading provider of wireless value-added services in China. Prior to that, he was founding chief technology officer of Sohu.com, China’s top web portal. He also served as chief technology officer for Censoft, Microsoft's first joint venture in China. Before returning to China, Xin had worked for over 10 years for many Silicon Valley companies including Tibco and Marimba. He holds a BS from Tsinghua University in China, and a MS in Computer Science from Marquette University in Wisconsin, USA.

Jay Sheth, SVP Air2Web

Jay Sheth joined us as senior vice president for Air2Web US and president & chief executive officer of Air2Web India based in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Sheth initially served as Air2Web's senior vice president of corporate development, leading the company's sales efforts with wireless carriers and email marketing vendors, and providing executive oversight of Air2Web's growing subsidiary in India. He has more than 18 years of telecommunications industry experience. Mr. Sheth received a Master's Degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University.
